First Swing Times Town Hall Meeting

The first Swing Times Town Hall meeting took place on December 5th. During the 90 minutes meeting the residents had the opportunity to exchange ideas and shared concerns.

Captain Paul Creighton stated the guidelines for the meeting by declaring that each attendant would have the opportunity to bring concerns for discussion, make comments and ask questions. He also made announcements about Swing Times Docklands being open for renting and parcel ownership as well as the winter and holidays activities scattered around town for people to enjoy with friends and family.

Ms. Lulu Castiglione, Community Events Director, introduced several ideas for events and community activities which will soon be announced. She also expressed total availability to receive and work ideas with residents about events involving our most eclectic community.

Mr. Sed Southpaw took the opportunity to present his intention of hosting an evening event to celebrate the neighbors and neighborhood - a progressive dinner where each course is to take place at a different location and each segment hosted by a different resident.

The promotion of the weekly schedule event was also discussed. It was of general agreement that there was a need to publicize the events in an online calendar. The Swing Timer has a specific page dedicated to the promotion of the calendar of events of our town.

At the end of the meeting, the Captain thanked the availability and interest of everyone present. The next town hall meeting will take place in January.
